This study aims to examine in depth the Problem Posing learning model and its application in Islamic Cultural History learning. The focus of the study covers four main aspects, namely: (i) understanding the meaning of the Problem Posing learning model, (ii) identifying the steps for applying the model, (iii) analyzing its strengths and weaknesses, and (iv) evaluating the relevance and effectiveness of applying the Problem Posing model in Islamic Cultural History lessons. The research used a qualitative method with a library research approach that relied on various scientific literature sources such as books, journals, and relevant research articles. The Problem Posing model is seen as a constructivist approach that encourages students to actively think, ask questions, and find solutions to problems that are posed or discovered by themselves. The results of the study show that this model is able to increase student participation and understanding in Islamic Cultural History learning, although its application requires teachers to be prepared in designing appropriate learning scenarios and responding flexibly to classroom dynamics. Thus, the Problem Posing model can be an effective alternative in creating an interactive and meaningful learning process in Islamic Cultural History classes.
2025-11-04T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Lili Kurnia Sari, Sriwardona Sriwardona, Rahmat Fajri, Resa Setiawatihttps://ejournal.stitahlussunnah.ac.id/index.php/JIE/article/view/330Implementation of Cooperative Learning Strategies with Discovery Learning in Islamic Education2025-08-05T12:40:39+07:00Muhammad Hafizhmuhammadhafizh062@gmail.comAfrinaldiafrinaldi@gmail.comYulia Rahmanyuliarahman@uinbukittinggi.ic.idArif Ridhaarifridha11@gmail.com
The problem identified in this study is the low learning outcomes of sixth-grade students in Islamic Religious Education, specifically in the subject of prayer and its implementation. One of the causes is the lack of variety in the teaching strategies used by teachers, which results in students becoming less enthusiastic, bored, and unmotivated to actively participate in learning, leading to low learning outcomes. Therefore, there is a need for new innovations in the form of applying the latest learning strategies to improve student learning outcomes. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of Islamic Religious Education learning and contribute to the development of Islamic Religious Education teachers' competence in formulating learning strategies and models in the application of learning media. This study used a quantitative experimental method in the form of a one-group pre-test-post-test only, which compares the test results before treatment (pre-test) with the test results after treatment (post-test). The population of this study was all students in elementary school, totaling 84 students, and the sample was grade VI, consisting of one class with 17 students. The data collection method in this study was in the form of pre-test and post-test results conducted in the experimental class. Furthermore, data analysis used normality tests and paired sample t-tests with the help of IBM statistics. Research results Based on the results of the research and discussion in elementary schools, there was an increase in the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education in Character Building after applying a combination of cooperative learning strategies, namely the student team achievement division type and the discovery learning type
2025-11-04T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Muhammad Hafizh, Afrinaldi Afrinaldi, Yulia Rahman, Arif Ridhahttps://ejournal.stitahlussunnah.ac.id/index.php/JIE/article/view/400Pedagogical Learning Model Integrative Based on the Quran-Hadith in Contemporary Islamic Education2025-10-20T20:03:50+07:00Yudi Gucandraygucandra@gmail.comCharles Charlescharles@gmail.comSoibatul Aslamiah Nasutionsoibatul@gmail.comRifka Haida Rahmarifka@gmail.comAndy Riski Pratamaandy@gmail.com
Contemporary Islamic education faces a serious dichotomy due to the dominance of modern learning models that focus solely on academic intelligence, thereby neglecting spiritual, emotional, and social intelligence. This condition is contrary to the true purpose of Islamic education, which is oriented towards the development of a complete person (Insan Kamil). This study aims to analyze the urgency of integrating modern pedagogy with the fundamental values of the Quran and Hadith in order to formulate a holistic learning approach. Using the library research method with a descriptive qualitative approach, this study conducts a conceptual synthesis and reviews the literature on integrative pedagogy. The analytical framework is reinforced by Amin Abdullah's concept of interconnection integration and Ismail Raji Al Faruqi's idea of Islamization of knowledge, which offer a philosophical basis for eliminating dichotomy. The results of the study show that contextualizing the values of the Quran and Hadith can strengthen the spiritual, moral, emotional, and social intelligence of students by developing the aspects of Ar Ruh, Al Qalb, Al Nafs, and Al Aql. It also improves critical thinking and social awareness. Modern learning models such as Problem Based Learning, Project Based Learning, Flipped Classroom, and Gamification become effective and religiously meaningful through this integration. The main contribution of this research is to offer a comprehensive conceptual framework for the development of an integrative Islam-based model that not only emphasizes cognitive mastery but also fosters a strong religious character. This integration is a strategic path towards a comprehensive vision of Islamic education.
2025-11-04T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Yudi Gucandra, Charles Charles, Soibatul Aslamiah Nasution, Rifka Haida Rahma, Andy Riski Pratamahttps://ejournal.stitahlussunnah.ac.id/index.php/JIE/article/view/396Development of Tahsin Tahfidz Media Innovation “Memo Qur'an” inImproving Reading Literacy and Digital Literacy of Students2025-10-11T16:51:43+07:00Aya Mamlu'ahayytusfa@sunan-giri.ac.idUlva Badi’ Rahmawatiulva@gmail.comAbdul Jalilabduljalil@gmail.com
The digital era, which facilitates internet access, creates challenges and opportunities for the world of education, demanding innovation to shift conventional practices towards more advanced ones. The study aims to trace, reconstruct, and interpret the historical dynamics of Islamic education in Minangkabau within the context of socio-politics and the transmission of knowledge. This study adopts a qualitative approach with historiography and literature review. Through a historical-critical literature review approach, this study analyzes the dynamics of Islamic education from the 17th to the 20th century, starting from the traditional surau system to modern madrasahs such as Sumatera Thawalib and Diniyah School. The results of the study show that Islamic education in Minangkabau not only functions as a religious institution but also as a socio-political arena in shaping the intellectual awareness and Islamic identity of the community. The concept of talaqqī becomes the epistemological foundation of knowledge transmission, which guarantees the authority and blessings of knowledge through the spiritual relationship between teacher and student. In the modern context, talaqqī has been recontextualized into a system of values and scientific ethics that is relevant to the development of contemporary Islamic education. This study confirms that Islamic education in Minangkabau is a manifestation of the dialectic between tradition and modernity, as well as an integrative model of Islamic education based on sanad, spirituality, and rationality.
2025-11-09T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Ade Putra Hayat, Iswantir Iswantirhttps://ejournal.stitahlussunnah.ac.id/index.php/JIE/article/view/402The Influence of Parenting Styleson Children's Introverted Personalities2025-10-21T08:33:10+07:00Syamsudin Syamsudinsyamsudindosen@gmail.comHelena Helenahelena@gmail.comRoni Faslahronivaslah92@gmail.comDwi Wahyuni Az-Zahrazahra@gmail.com
The tendency of children to have introverted personalities is influenced by the parenting styles of their parents within the family environment. This study aims to determine the influence of authoritarian, democratic, and permissive parenting styles on children's introverted personalities. The method used was a quantitative statistical approach through a Likert scale questionnaire administered to 12 parents who were selected as samples based on purposive sampling. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with the help of the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences. The results showed that the three types of parenting styles did not have a significant effect on children's introverted personalities (significance value > 0.05). Authoritarian and permissive parenting styles showed a positive relationship, while democratic parenting showed a negative relationship with introverted tendencies, but this was not statistically significant. The results of this study indicate that the formation of a child's introverted personality is not only influenced by parenting styles, but also by internal factors such as innate temperament, as well as external factors such as the social environment, emotional experiences, and the surrounding culture, which also have a significant influence. Parenting styles should be based on gentleness, wisdom, and exemplary behavior as described in the letter of Luqman. Parents need to understand that introverted children are not to be corrected, but to be understood and guided with love. Therefore, a spiritual, reflective, and respectful approach to parenting is key in accompanying their growth and development
2025-11-10T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Syamsudin Syamsudin, Helena Helena, Dwi Wahyuni Az-Zahra, Roni Faslahhttps://ejournal.stitahlussunnah.ac.id/index.php/JIE/article/view/404The Paradigm of Science Integration in The Development of Higher Education2025-10-21T11:56:02+07:00Herina Yantiherinayanti@stai-ydi.ac.idCharles Charlescharles@gmail.com
The paradigm of combining science and Islam is an effort to unite modern knowledge with Islamic religious values philosophically and epistemologically. Until now, higher education in the Islamic world has often separated religious knowledge from general knowledge, which has led to a separation in academic thinking and practice. This study aims to explore the philosophical basis for combining science and Islam, as well as its impact on the development of higher education. Using a qualitative method based on literature review, this study finds that combining science and Islam is not only theoretical but can also be applied in real life. This is done by considering revelation as a source of values and science as a tool for advancing civilization. This paradigm is capable of creating a comprehensive higher education model that focuses on the development of knowledge with ethics and is able to respond to global challenges without losing Islamic identity. Thus, the integration of science and Islam has great potential as a basis for developing curricula, learning strategies, and research directions in Islamic universities.
2025-11-10T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 herina yanti, Charles Charles
